Mark has spent over 20 years in top flight music and entertainment photography for all areas of national and international print and broadcast media as well as with artists such as David Bowie, Britney Spears, Blur, Gorillaz, Paul McCartney, Mariah Carey, R.Kelly, Sting, Tina Turner, The Who and Tony Bennett.
He has also worked with many broadcasters including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, MTV, HBO and NBC on specials and long running series (Most Wanted, The White Room, TOTP, Sound, Maestro, Lets Dance for Comic Relief). He has not only photographed performances but taken location and studio portraits of all kinds of personalities for both print and broadcast organisations. He has displayed his versatility when covering National Events of major importance like the Royal Wedding and the London Olympics.
Currently he covers the BBC Maida Vale sessions including Radio 1′s Live Lounge, the Zane Lowe Show, the Huw Stephens Show, Radio 2′s Jamie Cullum show, Radio 3′s Late Junction, In Tune and other classical output as well as numerous 6Music shows for BBC Online. He is also the regular photographer of contemporary and classical music for the Barbican Centre, the broadcasting rights organisation BMI and the songwriters organisation BASCA, for whom he covers all their annual awards including the ‘Ivors’.
